Is it difficult to get accepted by Georgetown University?

Yes, it's hard to get into Georgetown. You're going to need basically the same numbers that you'd need to get into an Ivy League school, but your chances of getting in are better than getting into an Ivy. That's why many students who aim for the Ivies also apply to Georgetown. Plus Washington is a great college town with a lot of internship possibilities.

I think the GPA from Cornell lists GPA's of students who are currently in the college, not its applicants. I've seen pretty crazy kids get rejected from Georgetown, but private universities tend to be more erratic about admissions. All I can say is that you should try to do your best, and most of all, stand out. You gotta find something that differentiates you from all of the other bajillion kids with 10 AP's and 2200 SAT scores in the applicant pool. - In a way the AP classes are more of a requirement for admissions than a bonus. They'll keep you on track but won't help you much Get active, especially out of school, which you've already done :D
