It's a tough call to say the least. Montreal's win could either be the beginning of an onslaught advancement to the finals or it could be the game Philly tossed to wear out the Habs. Chicago is probably going to wrap it up against San Jose but I wouldn't be surprised if the Sharks pushed it to 6 games. Chicago might want to watch out in the next game for some boost in aggressiveness by some of those Sharks d-men. Rob Blake, Douglas Murray, and Dan Boyle might start taking the body if it means closing up the slot and forcing Hawks forwards to the boards for relatively weak shots.
My guess would be Chicago and Philadelphia for the finals. Each team's got some grit (Philly with Pronger, Cobourn, Carcillo, Richards, Hartnell) (Chicago with Byfuglien, Keith, Seabrook, Eager, and Sopel). Each team's got snipers to get the goals, all equally as capable of lighting it up and both goaltenders are solid consistently.
This final would come down mostly to the mind-set of each team right from the opening face-off. Each team has the ability to smother the opponent's offense if they get one or two goals quickly out of the gate. The hits though could do some significant damage to both teams though. This one should have some odd man rushes, big thumping checks, extra-curricular activity in the goal crease, etc.
I think Chicago will win this one in 6 or 7. It's gonna be great fun watching.
Thing is that both teams have had games where they've fallen early in the goal count. Both have had comeback victories but none could afford to give up the first goal, especially in the first 10 minutes of the game. That will be a huge factor.
