My dream job is to beomce a probation (correctional) officer. I know I have to earn a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice in order to achieve this goal, so I will study hard towards this direction. Being a probation officer can help serve the community. On the other hand, I can help those who had been convicted of a crime to be back on their feet again. Probation is an alternative for going to prison. If the defendant was granted for probation, he just has to report to me for counselling. My duties are to help the probationers to join different programs to be mentally prepared for their returning to the society. For example, if a client is committed of a "Driving Under Influence" (It means drunk driving), I will refer him to a program which can assist him to restrain from alcohol.
