Goods took out from the godown means the delivery of goods physically. It is the nature of the transaction why goods had to be taken out that mattered. So, initially, it was regarded as a sale to a customer. The entries are Dr. Eden Cr. Sales. It was wrong. Now, a reversal of the wrong entry had to be made as this was not a sale but goods purchased being taken away by the owner. The correct entries should then be Dr. Drawings Cr. Purchases.
