Germany lost all its overseas colonies in Africa and the Pacific, Alsace-Lorraine to France, a small area in the Saar to Belgium, and all territory gained in the 3 Partitions of Poland in the late 18th century to Poland, as well as West Prussia which became the 'Polish Corridor'
