Protease Qusetion

Proteases are a number of enzymes which helps proteolysis. However, since proteases themselves are also enzymes, a kind of protein, and they helps the breakdown of amino acid, not specific kind of protein molecules, would they catalyse themselves (A breakdown B, B breakdown C, etc) and they are not entirely reusable?
更新1:

As I know, proteases have their active site for the bondings between amino acid, the formation of proteins, not specific protein molecules. Perhaps your hypothesis is not entirely correct, but whatever, thank you for answering. Your website is not working. Pleases send me the working one. Thanks.

according to :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Protease#Degradation
Proteases, being themselves proteins, are known to be cleaved by other
protease molecules, sometimes of the same variety. This may be an
important method of regulation of peptidase activity.

so I guess it is right for you to say that protease can breakdown themselves.

interesting question,

my guess is that the specific proteases breaks specific bond combination. ie, it only aid to break a certain sequence of the protein, or specific shape of the protein. As long as the proteases do not process the specific sequence or have the specific shape, it will not break itself...

does that make senses? I hope it is helpful!
