What is the true meaning of life?

To enjoy and share Love with a love one.

Carl sagan said we are ways for the universe to know it's self.If we didn't reproduce we wouldn't be living so that's a good meaning.

1 We make the best of our individual situations because there is no other sensible alternative. Those that cannot conform to this unalterable rule go berserk.

First, I'll tell you that time is an illusion that serves a purpose. Without it everything would happen all at once. I believe there is an Almighty God and I believe he created time so that we could live out human lives. Eventually we all become perfected souls through a series of incarnations, and then we return to our source, God.

The meaning of life in one sentence?

Our reason for being is knowledge of God.

caring about others. and not about pleasure. because pleasure is related to the self. ego etc; that's a start anyway.

Nobody actually knows what is the real purpose of life,nor if that purpose exists.
So,everyone must decide what is his own purpose.For me?try to be happy,enjoy love,friendship,be a good person,do something for the others,not to waste time...that is time for me:
something that cant be wasted,time is life.(at work ,time is money lol)

不同人有著不同的人生目的，大致可歸納為兩類，(一)為己而活、
(二) 為他人而活或為神而活。
前者是自私，後者是偉大。前者是追求個人享受、幸福生活作為他們的人生目標。
後者是追求心靈飽足或滿足、肯付出不求回報、建立別人、以致社會，
從叫人得生命到光明文明社會，叫人體會天國在地上的模樣。

我們的人生目的是甚麼呢？這要我們先有著看見。有看見才成為我們的方向。
有看見之後也要根據我們的能力，處在社會哪一個位置，
我們盡我們個人的本份做好我們的份內事，並知道是為誰而作，這樣，
我們就尋得到人生的意義。

人生是要積極面對的，不要因一時不得志而消沉，終身學習、積極裝備自己，
就帶來美善的果效。

知識傳流、互相建立，打破國與國的疆界。
