Making names for the kids in classroom?

I am gonna teach a class soon, and I will make an English name for each student in the class.
Can I have the names prepared and have them printed out, and hand them to each student?
Or should I create a name right in front of them one by one?

I haven't seen any of them yet, and they are kindergarden students. Their first language isn't English. Is it fine to print all the names already beforehand?

Bear in mind that some names can have unwanted associations in the students own language so have them checked before hand.

Also, since a name is a very personal thing, don't try to force a new name on a student; some schools frown on this whilst others want all their students to have English names!

If you want it to be a boring, but good students that listen classroom follow these steps:
1-Just write or print each name on seperate pieces of paper
2-place the names table by table with tape
a.either random
b.alphabetically
c.as on the roll sheet
This way is effective because students might know each other, speak, and not pay attention.
OR
If you want a fun and creative, but bad students that playaround classroom follow these steps:
1-Just write or print each name on seperate pieces of paper
2-Give each one to each student and tell them to sit anywhere they want

This is also effective in the way that students will love your classroom, but others might take it as a joke classroom.
Hope you liked it.Did my best!
