Pb(NO3)2 + KI --> PbI2 + KNO3

Ionic equation:
Pb2+(aq) + 2I-(aq) --> PbI2(s)

Observation,
(1) Yellow ppt
Yellow precipitation is due to PbI2 is in solid state where it is insoluble in water
(PbI2,PbCl2 and PbBr2 are all insoluble)

Pb(NO3)2 (aq) + 2KI (aq) → PbI2 (s) + 2KNO3 (aq)

observation:
yellow precipitate
because PbI2 is a yellowish solid and is insoluble in water.
