to raise your eyebrows= to move your eyebrows upwards in order to show surprise or disapproval.
e.g "Reallr?" she said, raising her eyebrows.
e.g.This decision caused a few raised eyebrows = this decision raised a few eyebrows這决定令一些人感到驚訝。
(= surprise some people)
[raise a few eyebrows] 係形容他人對某一個行為或言論嘅反應,包括驚訝,不認同,或輕微反感。
