Almost all processed and fast foods contain added sugar; it's a cheap way to make them taste better.

You would be better off sticking with fresh and additive-free foods prepared at home, where you can control the sugar intake.

Increasing your probiotics by consuming yogurt will kill off the yeast that gives you sugar cravings. People who consume too much sugar have excessive levels of yeast in their intestinal tract and a deficiency of healthy bacteria.

Read labels. If it has a label don't eat it.

Sugar comes in a myriad of forms, pretty much any ingredient that ends in "ose" is sugar.

Don't buy commercial salad dressing. It is all junk. Make your own using olive or walnut oil, lemon or lime juice, and some spices.

Don't eat pickles, full of high fructose corn syrup.

Don't eat french fries (they are soaked in sugar water so they get that nice crisp shell

Don't eat dried fruit, often coated in sugar

Stuff like rice, potatoes, bread, cereals, beans, etc breakdown pretty quickly into sugars. And of course most bread is made with sugar.

Much of the frozen stuff in the super market has sugar in it. Frozen veggies healthy? Not when they put sugar in it.

Mixed spices usually have sugar in them.

Most yogurt is crammed full of sugars.

And of course no ice cream, donuts, muffins, cakes, pies, cookies, etc

Eat fresh fruit and vegetables. In fact stuff yourself with dark greens. You would have to eat a grocery bag full a day to put on weight. Eat a variety of vegetables, at least a dozen different kinds every day.

You don't want to get rid of it completely but stay away from candy, soda, or any kind of unnatural sugary things. The best place to get your sugars is from fruit. Check the nutrition facts on things and see how high the sugar content is.

Substitute fresh fruits in place of sweets. Hope that helped. Have a nice day.

There are a lot of ways to cut down sugar. You should take note that you do need some amount of energy during the day, stick to glucose drinks for that. As mentioned above by you, cut down on soda. Those things have bout 10-13 grams per 100 ml of the liquid. Cut down on sweets, candy and if youre used to drinking a lot of tea or coffee, replace the sugar with a sugarfree substitute, theyre quite common now but dont overdo it. If youre fond of taking in a lot of sweet flavor, try honey instead.
That should help..
