2. A 220 V circuit in a beauty salon is protected by a 25 A fuse box.it has six 100W lights, two 250 W steam machine , an IPL of 500 W and an ultrasonic machine of 150 W with all of them are connected in parallel.
a) Assess the advantage for connecting those appliances in parallel.
b) Calculate the maximum power that canbe supplied by this circuit to another appliance.
c) is it safe to use circuit to its maximun , please explain ?

1. Is this a physics question?2. (a) When any one of the appliances breaks down, the operation of other appliances would not be affected.
(b) Current consumed by all the appliances
= (6 x 100 + 2 x 250 + 500 + 150)/220 A = 7.95 A
Hence, spare current = (25 - 7.95) A = 17 A
Max power that still be supplied = 220 x 17 w = 3740 w
(c) No. The heat produced in the circuit may cause hazard.
