We'd be going in July, so the options are a game against the Orioles, the Texas Rangers, or the Detroit Tigers. Which would be the most exciting for a Red Sox fan to watch?

Rangers and Tigers vs. Red Sox games would be most competitive. Orioles will be buried so far in last place by July,they may not even show up to play.

Rangers or Tigers. They would be closer, more competitive, and more exciting. The Orioles would just lose to the Sox easily.

The Orioles have some talented players but aren't a very good team at all, and that game will probably be less exciting. Rangers or Tigers would be my pick, both legitimate canditates for the playoffs and both have exciting players to watch. If it's Game 1 against the Tigers that could very interesting to get to see Johnny Damon return to Fenway no longer with the Yankees.
