"勾手指尾"的英文是否就是 pinky bump?

But what is baffling me is: the Westerner who said "pinky bump" also showed his pinky to his friend, and it appeared to be an intact finger.

Yes, means making a commitment against something. eg
Lets pinky-pump and keep it as a secret.

002 annyinchan is right, 勾手指尾"的英文是 [pinky swear, or pinky promise].
Regarding [pinky bump], it seems that it just means a bump on the pinky finger or toe, something like a corn, or could be bony or liquid filled.
