Almost any neighborhood near the school is a good one. They all have Northwest quadrant addresses and are in the upper price brackets.

Good luck with finding a place for that price, though. You'll have to share a rental or rent a room in a house to find something within your budget.

Try apartments.com and WashingtonPost.com to check out places near GU that are affordable. There's a map in the corner of the screen that will help you select the areas from which you can choose.

while you're staring at something in a "extra up-scale" community," anticipate to pay properly over $1000. Many specialists soak up roommates to stay interior the very risk-free and sparkling areas. Rockville and Bethesda are great places to stay and are top on the metro traces. tremendously lots each and every place is good on the metro line interior the DC section, yet i'd certainly examine to be certain approximately room friends to get as distant as a threat from the undesirable areas of DC.

There are a lot of apartments right around the school in Georgetown. That will probably be easiest. I imagine the school keeps a listing of them, since they mainly rent to students. There are other apartments in Georgetown as well, mostly privately owned - perhaps craigslist or the washington post would have the listings for them.
