I need help with moving!!!?

This is my first time moving to a new place, and I don't know what to do. I'm from NYC, and I'm going to move to DC for school in August. Is it easier for me to move my clothes and other belongings by driving from NYC to DC (the drive is 4 hours, each way) or mailing them via UPS or Fedex?

It will be cheaper and much less of a hassle for you to just bring them along in you're car since you're going to the same place your things would be going anyway. Once you go through the process of packaging them and transporting them to UPS or FedEx for shipping, you will have wasted so much time and money; and you'd have to pack them up in the car anyway to take them to be shipped, so why not just bring it all with you?

It's been my personal experience that shipping rates are quite silly for what you get in return.

It's EASIER to let UPS or FedEx do it. CHEAPER? That's another matter.
