Soil are usually acidic. If the soil is too acidic, it will not be suitable for plants to grow. (Usually the suitable pH for plants to grow is between 5-7). By adding slaked lime, it can increase the pH value of soil i.e. make the soil become less acidic. Then the plants can grow better.2010-04-24 20:36:55 補充：
