It is never too late, and you are only 17, there is plenty of time... use you brain, do the right thing, and you will be on your way! the surgical room is waiting for you!

well, try don't think the way people want you to think, you are a free man! you will find your way by believing it! I know people who start their medical training as late as mid 30's! make sure you use your brain, you have to have wisdom to be doctor... good luck!

I guess it is a bit chaos compare to before, but what is a bad case? that you wasted a year or so.... the worst case, that you do a BSc in subject related to medicine, like biochemistry, then going back to medical school afterward...

if you aren't able to get the grades, do a BSc. meanwhile you really need to think hard why you can not get the grades? is it that you are not working hard enough? not clever enough? a bit of both? don't know the way to study?

try to locate where the problems are and solve it accordingly...
