✔ 最佳答案
2x/3=8+4x
2x=4x+8*3
-2x=24
-x=12
x=-12

2x/3=8+4x
2x=24+12x
-24=10x
x=-24/10=-12/5

To solve for x you need to isolate it on one side of the equals sign. So there are a couple ways you could do it, but this is how I would solve it.

2x/3 = 8 + 4x
Multiply both sides by 3 so that 2x is alone.
2x = 3(8 + 4x)
2x = 24 + 12x
Then subtract 12x from both sides so that the x's are on one side of the equation.
2x - 12x = 24
-10x = 24
Divide both sides by negative ten to completely isolate x.
x = 24/-10
x = -2.4

Hope that made sense.

2x/3=8+4x
:2x=24 + 12x
: -24=10x
: x = -2.4

2x = 24 + 12x
- 24 = 10x
x = - 24/10
x = - 12/5

2x/3=8+4x

Multiply both sides by 3

2x=24+12x
-10x=24

x=-5/12

Hrm.. First, distribute the -3. 5 - 6x + 21 = 8 - 4x next, get all the x's on one ingredient, and the constants on the different. -2x = -18 finally, merely divide with the help of -2. x = 9 All carried out! :)

JUST CROSS MULTIPLY

2x = 3 ( 8 + 4x)

2x = 24 + 12x

12x -2x = -24
10x = -24
x = -24/10 = -12/5 ANSWER

2x/3 = 8 + 4x
2x = 3(8 + 4x)
2x = 3(8) + 3(4x)
2x = 24 + 12x
2x - 12x = 24
-10x = 24
x = 24/(-10)
x = -12/5 (-2.4)

2x / 3 = 8 + 4x

=> 2x = 24 + 12x
=> 10x = -24
=> x = -2.4
