火山灰已覆蓋歐洲廣大地區， 向東已飄至接近俄羅斯莫斯科，引發的航空混亂亦波及亞洲，但因為冰島埃亞菲亞德拉火山噴出來的火山灰，部分已降落在英國各地，因此不會對香港做成很大的威脅。即使火山灰波及香港，也不會好像歐洲那麼嚴重，所以不用擔心。
