Which team should I (legally) bet on to win the World Series?

Yankees are favorites,so if any team, bet the Yanks.

If anything, bet on teams to win divisions. Its safer, plus you dont have to wait til almost November for it to pay out.

Here are my predictions:

AL East : Yankees
AL Central : Tigers
AL West : Mariners (nice pick)

NL East : Phillies but i'd throw a few bucks on Florida
NL Central : STL
NL West : Colorado

Yankees or Phillies. The two best teams in baseball.

The Yankees are the betting favorites right now. They probably have the best shot, but that doesn't mean the value is there on the bet. Last time I looked it was like a 3-1 odds.

The Yankees. If you don't know what to bet and you just want to win, pick the Yankees.

If you want to pick a risky bet and high earning, pick the Giants.

You don't want to go with the favorites, because the payoff isn't so hot (NYY and PHI will pay off so little it's not worth making the bet).

I'd see if the odds are 10-1 or higher and pick a team from there - my choices would be San Francisco, Tampa Bay, and Minnesota... I would guess they'd all be between 10-1 and 20-1 and worth throwing $10 or $20 on them.
