Change y = mx-10 to intercept form :mx - y = 10
(m/10) x - y / 10 = 1
x / (10/m) + y / (-10) = 1
So x intercept is 10/m
y intercept is - 10
(1/2) (10/m) = - 10
m = - 1/2
