fall into 係指件物件跌咗入去一個地方, 唔係刻意去咁做. 好似:

When he opened the door and left his car, his keys and coins accidentally came out from his pocket and fell into the drainage (佢開門落車時, D碎銀同鎖匙咁啱喺褲袋飛咗出嚟, 跌咗入去水渠入面).

drop into 係指有人係刻意將一樣嘢放入去一個地方:

The postman dropped the letter into the mailbox (郵差將信放入郵箱)
