I have to respectfully disagree with you on all 3 of those, Lyle.

Mariners
Twins
Rays

In the West, the Angels slipped a bit while the Mariners added some major talent. Seattle will win by two or three games. Chone Figgins will make a huge difference.
In the Central, the Twins and Tigers were even last year, but the Twins added JJ Hardy, Jim Thome and Orlando Hudson, while the Tigers lost Placido Polanco and Curtis Granderson. I think the Tigers will finish third, behind Minnesota and Chicago.
The Yankees and Red Sox will, of course, be contenders in the East, but I think that the Rays get overlooked too much. Really, this division is anyone's guess, but I'll go with Tampa. The second place team will get the wild card in this division.

I like the Rays, Twins, and Mariners, though your three are also likely.
I just think the Twins have the best lineup in the Central and possibly the AL. They can easily score 5+ runs/game with what they have. They won't do it everyday, obviously. But the days they do will make their pitchers not have to work as hard as they would if the team only scored two runs or so.

For the Mariners, I just think they're a much improved them. They have the best pitching, which includes TWO aces in King Felix and Cliff Lee.

And I like Rays because they were in the cellar for so long, now they're great. So I root for them.

In the West I like the Rangers - may be the closest race in baseball. The Angels have fallen off and the rest of the division has caught up. I like the Rangers lineup to keep hitting all year and the pitching staff to be just good enough to win by a game or two over Angels and Mariners.

Central I have to go with the Twins- Tigers and White Sox will be in it all year long. I just think the Twins close the season out better than anyone and will win a tight race. Solid staff, great speed and defense. Bats will be great in that new ball park.

East is the Yanks division to lose. They are the best roster in the big leagues. People say the Sox offense is way down this year, I don't see that happening. I think they will be a 95 win team this year, just don't think it's enough to beat the Yanks who I see winning 99-100 games.

These predictions are sure to go wrong though, since the season never seems to go the way we all think :^)

I know you only asked for the AL but I would like to do the NL too and the Wild Cards if you don't mind so here it is.
AL East-New York Yankees-I dont like them but too much talent to not win.
AL Central-Minnesota Twins-Above average pitchers and really good hitters check their roster they are a beast team.
AL West-Seattle Mariners-Did alot to better there squad while for the most part the other teams in their division got worse so it puts them over the top.
AL Wild Card-Boston Red Sox-Are good enough to win just about every division in the AL but because they are in the East they get the Yankees in there division and the Yankees are just a whisker better.
NL East-Philadelphia Phillies-Have been to the last two World Series and their is no reason to think they wont do it again.
NL Central-St.Louis Cardinals-Have two pitchers who could have won the Cy Young Award last year and arguably the best player in the world in Albert Pujols one of the better teams in the NL.
NL West-San Francisco Giants-Have the reigning Cy Young Winner in Tim Lincecum and a couple other really good pitchers throw in their above average batters and you have a Division winning team.
NL Wild Card-Los Angelas Dodgers-Have a great chance to win the NL West but will be a contender for the World Series regardless.
參考: Did research and have watched baseball in the MLB for 30 plus years.

Yankees (Red Sox don't stand a chance, and I'm not just saying that because I'm a Yankee fan. They really don't have a great team this year, just a great pitching staff. )
Twins
Rangers
