Ghost in the shell, movies or series first?

first movie. then series. then the other 2 movies. or just read the manga.

They are alternate realities so the movies are different.

I watched the 1st movie when it came out so i watched them all in order of release.

also, other 2 movies?? To watch Solid State Society you need to see Standalone complex 1st and 2nd gig. You need to know about the tachikomas. Shirrow's graphic novels are awesome (manga is a company not the name of the genre)

- First movie: 1995;
- First TV series: 2002-2003;
- Second TV series: 2004;
- Second movie: 2004.

The movie with the "puppet master"...awesome. I don't watch the series, cuz it seems like a waste of time. But movie first.
