Anytime I play Left 4 Dead 2 it runs fine but anytime I play versus mode or scavenge, if I play with more than 3 other people, my game starts lagging, eg. if i have run past a certain point, I am suddenly brought back to before whatever I have just run past..Help!!
By the way, it's on xbox 360

I'm not sure if XBox 360 allows local servers, but in the PC version, local servers (servers that you or another player hosts with own internet connection, rather than on a dedicated server) suck. Pings shoot up to 500 when there are a bunch of zombies. If you can, pick dedicated server instead of local server when playing a game online.

It's probably your internet connection, not the game itself. Play a different game online, and see if it lags. I'm not sure what you can do about it, but it's more then likely the internet.
