If the centre of the circle x^2 + y^2 + kx + (k+1)y -3 = 0 lies on x+y+1 = 0 ,find k.
I NEED SOLUTION PLZ

x^2 + y^2 +Dx+Ey+F=0
the centre of the circle=(-D/2 , -E/2)

Centre of circle = (k,k+1)

Substitute (k,k+1) into the equation x+y+1 = 0,
k + k+1 +1 = 0
2k + 2 =0
k = -1
