It is impossible for a P.3 pupil to solve the problem with equation.

A possible method for a P.3 pupil is shown below :
（一個小三學生的可行方法如下：）

When 10 pencils are put from H to K, K has 6 pencils more than H.
（=> 當從 H 把 10 支鉛筆放到 K，K 比 H 多 6 支鉛筆。）

=> When 7 pencils instead are put from H to K, H and K have the same number of pencils, i.e. 84 ÷ 2 = 42 pencil.
（=> 當從 H 改把 7 支鉛筆放到 K，H 和 K 有相同數目的鉛筆，即 84 ÷ 2 = 42 支鉛筆。）

=> K is 7 pencils less than 42 pencils.
（=> K 有比 42 支鉛筆少了 7 支。）

=> K has 42 - 7 = 35 pencils
（=> K 有 42 - 7 = 35 支鉛筆。）
