Does time fly faster or slower when you were younger?

When you're young, you have a lot of hope and ideas to look forward to. By the time you're much older (I am over 60), you realise that you have wasted a lot of time and want to fit in as much as you can so there's a stronger sense of urgency. Young people think they have all the time in the world to do what they want to accomplish but you realise later that unless you take advantage of every moment, life gets away on you. So...older people experience time moving very fast because they want to catch up on what they haven't done.

I heard this a few years ago.

Life is like a roll of toilet paper.
The closer you get to the end,
The faster it goes.

Time is always the same. If you stay at home all day and don't observe the outside environment then it will feel like time went fast. Just like if you were out all day, dying to get home, and doing a lot of tasks, your day will feel like an eternity.

For me, time went by faster as I got older. I've had other people tell me that too. It took me forever to turn 18. Now I'm 42 and it feels like I just graduated high school a few years ago. Things that happened 5 years ago I could swear just happened last year. I don't know why that is. Maybe you're looking forward to more things when you're young

Enjoy life while you're young.

I'd have to say slower. As a child we had no deadlines, we had bedtimes that allowed us to rest adequately. Now we have to move so fast that time passes faster because we are preoccupied with making deadlines while taking care of our children, and working. We cant wait to be 18, then 21, and then when it finally comes, we want time to slow down and cringe to see another birthday sneak around the corner.

slow from 6 to 18 fast from 18 to 24.right now its like not slow or fast.
