In the figure, ABCD is a square of side 6 cm . AEFG and HIJD are two identical squares. Let AE=p cm and q cm^2 be the area of the shaded region.
(a). Show that q=18p-p^2
(b).If the area of the shaded region is half of the area of ABCD, fing the value of p.
c.Find the maximum area of the shaded region and the cooresponding value of p.
