please pick a b, c d, e and state why you picked it ..

(a) do qualifying like they do now when it is rained out set by drivers points .

(b) set it by the random draw they did to see what order t when hey drew to see what order they would have qualified in?

(c) a random draw of all cars that showed up for the race even the cars not in the top 35 ? every body has the sane change to make the race when it rains.

(d) have 2 draws one for pit selection on for starting position of the top 43 cars in owner points.. this is so the top teams in point don't get both best starting position and pit stall with out a little luck..

(e) what is you idea to make the races better when qualifying is rained out ?

I dont see why they cannot move some practices around and fit in qualifying at another point. At least set the top 35 by points, and they let the other "go or go home" cars run a qualifying session... how long do you think that would take... It would be well worth it giving those guys a chance to race on Sunday... If NASCAR is trying to cut cost, why not let these guys get more bang for their buck... if they drive to the track they at least deserve a fair shot to race on Sunday.

i think they should do like nationwide series and trucks. if its rained out get them guys up early and qualify on sunday morning to make it least half way decent on these short tracks. u pretty much hand any of the top 12 a win with giving them starting position and pit selection

Let me get this straight.. You not only don't think NASCAR knows how to run its own show, but you think you have five different ways to do it that are better??
I have a great idea.. Why don't you go over to the football section, and suggest that they change to a five down format, instead of four.. Come back, and let me know how you did.. I'd be really interested..

simple make qualifying the next day ... and if that is rained out ... then go by owner points

I like c myself shouldn't everyone have to qualify on time the top 35 thing is a little unfair. I mean why is it so special to be in the top 35 especially towards the bottom.

Mike Helton, Brian France, and Robin Pemberton should give the race lineup according to how THEY feel will be the best for NASCAR!

if they get a full practice session in with all 43 cars turn some laps then start based off of how well they ran in practice
