✔ 最佳答案
7(2a + 2) + 2(6a - 1)
= 7(2a) + 7(2) + 2(6a) - 2(1)
= 14a + 14 + 12a - 2
= 14a + 12a + 14 - 2
= 26a + 12

First Distribute
7(2a + 2) = 14a +14
2(6a - 1) = 12a -2
Your new equation after distributing is
14a + 14 + 12a - 2
You will now add like terms such as the 14a and 12a which makes 26a
Now you will add common numbers 14 and - 2 (notice the negative sign in front of the 2) making this number 12
Your answer to the problem is 26a + 12
:) hope this helped

The word "SOLVE" is applied to equations and equations require an = sign.
What we have here is an expression to be simplified.

14a + 14 + 12a - 2 = 26a + 12

= 14a+14+12a-2

=26a+12

1. Apply the distributive property

7(2a + 2) + 2(6a - 1)

(7 X 2a) + (7 x 2) + (2 x 6a) - (2 x 1)

14a + 14 + 12a - 2

2. Regroup them

(14a + 12a) + ( 14 - 2)

3. Add them together

26a + 12

Note: You can no longer add them because they are different( one contains the variable with coefficient while the other is just a plain integer.. You can only add two things that are the same.

7(2a+2)+2(6a-1)
14a+14+12a-2
26a+12
2(13+6)

or

if 26a+12=0
then
a=-6/13

[(7 x 2a) + (7 x 2) ] + [(2 x 6a) - (+2 - 1)] =

Maybe from here you can manage to solve already. Good luck :)
2010-03-25 9:36 am
7(2a+2)+2(6a-1)=0
distrubute
(14a+14)+(12a-2)=0
solve
26a+12=0
26a=-12
a=-12/26
a=-6/13
2010-03-25 9:34 am
7(2a + 2) + 2(6a - 1)

= (14a + 14) + (12a - 2)
= 14a + 14 + 12a - 2
= 26a + 12
2010-03-25 9:34 am
7(2a+2)+2(6a-1)
14a+14+12a-2
26a+12=0
26a=-12
a=-12/26 simplified -6/13
