Nucleic Acid 與DNA

核酸（Nucleic Acid）是一種主要位於細胞核內的生物大分子，其充當著生物體遺傳信息的攜帶和傳遞。

核酸可以分為脫氧核糖核酸（DNA）以及核糖核酸（RNA）。

DNA分子含有生物物種的所有遺傳信息，為雙鏈分子，其中大多數是鏈狀結構大分子，也有少部分呈環狀結構，分子量一般都很大。

RNA主要是負責DNA遺傳信息的翻譯和表達，為單鏈分子，分子量要比DNA小得多。

The modification of the structure of nucleiotide (monomer of nucleic acid) produces different kinds of nucleic acid.
