請問除了在眾數及he,she,it後+s的情況,還有什麼情況下,英文字母後要+s呢?

答：除了眾數和現在式第三人稱單數的動詞要加“s/es/ies”外，沒有其他的詞要加“s/es/ies”。而加“ies”是因“y”之前屬不響音「輔音」，如：b-z（without a,e,i,o,u）否則只加“s”。如 enjoys ，say，buys。
1. She washes her hands before has her meal.
2. He studies hard always.
3.She enjoys singing on the stage.

Q2. 以下例子為何要+s呢? Love never dies (為何dies要+s呢?)

答：“love”是不可數名詞，所有不可數名詞都只當作單數算，既是單數，die是原動詞，當然要加“s”了。

Legends never die (為何legends要+s呢?)

答：Legends是句子的主語（subject），在此時是眾數。
如：My grandparents live in Japan.

Here comes the slepless long nights (為何comes及nights要+s呢?)
答：“the slepless long nights”長期失眠的意思，“ slepless /sleepless”是不可數名詞，“come”自然要加“s”。

其實你已經懂了，徐了用作眾數，在he/she/it後的動詞都要加上's', 但是用在眾數的subject(如they/we)之後就唔洗加's'

1) Love never dies (為何dies要+s呢?)
"Love" 是死物, 可用"it"來代替 => it never dies OR love never dies

2) Legends never die (為何legends要+s呢?)
"Legends" 是眾數，可用"they"來代替 => they never die => legends never die

3) here (it means "now" in this sentence) comes the slepless long nights 幾天的晚上

全句釋: 幾天沒有覺好睡的日子又要來了...

The answer is very simple.

For plural nouns, you add 's' or 'es' (if the last letter is a vowel (a,e,i, o, u)

The boy (singular noun) lives here.

A verb that follows a singular verb needs to add 's' or 'es'

The boys (plural noun) live here.

不只是要+s,
還有+es/+ies
例子:
Peter goes to the park.
a/e/i/o/u後要+es,
但重覆既就不得,
例如:
good有個o,但係重覆左個o就唔可以+es,而要+s
另外+es要注意a/e/i/o/u隔左兩個英文字母,
就要+s,
唔可以+es
仲有,
有個y字要+ies
例如:
happy唔係happys/happyes而係happies

咁除左左he/she/it及眾數後要+s/+es/+ies外,
多個一樣野既話就要+s
例子1:
I see many things here.(many=好多)
There are five apples.

解答:
因為love係眾數,
呢個句子得一個動詞,
所以個動詞要+s
咁有兩個動詞就唔同
例子:

Q1. Only "he, she it" 要+s OR +es OR +ies


Q2. Love never dies --> it's making a statment. It is more difficult to explain it. And if you are in primary school, you don't have to worry about that.

Legends never die --> more than one legend (眾數) (e.g Oranges are juicy.)


Here comes the sleepless long nights -->

"comes" -- 因為"here", 如果我add "i,we,you,they" = here we come, 再者如果我add "she/he/it" = here she comes

"nights" -- more than one night (眾數)
