Entry Requirements
Applicants should

gained at least 5 subjects in the HKCEE at Grade E or above including
English Language (Syllabus B) (Grade C in the case of English Language
(Syllabus A)) and Chinese Language, or equivalent; and have 3 years
work experience. OR
have gained in HKALE Grade E in 1 AL subject or 2 AS subjects, or equivalent.
Applications
will also be considered from mature applicants who are 25 years of age
on or before September of the year in which admission is sought and who
have at least 3 years work experience.

佢地之後讀後之後都入O左會展同埋PR公司度做...都OK丫我覺得
其實D HIGH DIP都係一樣JA...不過好似IVE耐D...同埋D僱主識多D MA~

To the best of my knowledge, HDs offered by universities are designed for applicants with AL background (completion of S.7). They are usually 2 years in duration. I am afraid that you are not qualified for these HDs.

Since you are now studying in IVE FD, it is to your advantage that you continue to study in IVE for your HD because you are familiar with the IVE system and learning environment. Furthermore, IVE teachers know your background very well, so they know how to adjust the teaching methodology to fit your standard.

Before you decide on the choice of course, you must check the following items:

(1) what job positions does the course lead to?
(2) what is the promotion prospect and career opportunities?
(3) is there any professional body controlling the standard of that profession? (like HK Institution of Engineers overseeing the quality of engineers)
(4) Any directly relevant degree course available? (better of the same specialism title)
(5) The skill learnt from the course is distinctive and unique, not easily replaced by a generalist (like S.7 student).

Mind you that quite a number of IVE courses are created for the purpose of boosting student population. These courses bear sexy course titles but the course content are not really 'professional' enough. Mind these traps!
