I am having a party in class and whatever I bring has to have a medieval name. I am bring in chips, can anyone tell me what would the medieval name be for chips. it's BBQ chips if that makes a difference.

If you live in Europe, this is a catch question because potatoes and corn (maize) did not really arrive in Europe until the 16th century.
