Sue and Accuse ~Differences

Usually, sue is used as a transitive verb.
meaning
- to institute proceeding against (a person) for redress of grievances.
- to start a law case against 提出訴訟
e.g. I would sue you for any damages.
The company could be sued for damages.
accuse 控告
transitive
1. To charge with a shortcoming or error.
2. To charge formally with a wrongdoing.

intransitive
To make a charge of wrongdoing against another
e.g. The neighbours accused the man of child abuse.
They accused him of stealing the car.
He is accused of stealing the car.
Her assistant was accused of theft by the police.
