Easy chemical test

Suggest a chemical test to distinguish between sodium chloride and water.

Can I use cobalt(II) chloride paper to test it?
If not, what can I use?
更新1:

NaCl is supposed to be an aqueous solution in this case.

Not very good.

Sodium chloride is a solid. If you dissolve the salt into water and then perform the test, it yields positive results.

Contact of solids rarely initiates reactions even though they are reactive. But it is still possible.

If the given NaCl is a solution, it is obviously not possible to use cobalt(II) chloride paper.

Acidified silver nitrate solution should be used.
White silver chloride is precipitated for sodium chloride, while no observable change is observed in water.

If sodium chloride is in the form of solution, both chemicals give positive results in your test. Hence, they cannot be separated.

For sodium chloride solution with AgNO3/H+(aq),
Ag+(aq) + Cl-(aq) -> AgCl(s)
** AgCl(s) formed can be redissolved in dilute ammonia solution as a further test.

Only dilution occurs for water.
