What is the difference between "accountancy" and "accounting"? US and UK spelling? or they have different meaning?
I would like to know which word means "會計學". Since when I checked the Yahoo! Dictionary, both mean "會計學". However, when I checked my printed dictionary, "accountancy" only means "會計業"... So, can someone tells me the true. As I am a very strange person that I only like and want to use the UK english, please tell me whether they are either British or American, thanks a lot.
更新1:

I have checked Google and Yahoo! dictionary already. Please do not ask me to check the dictionary by myself or even copy and paste the pages.

They are definitely different. There is nothing to do with either British or Amerian English.
Accountancy (會計業) is the profession or business of an accountant. This is not a study of accounting. This is the occupation of maintaining and auditing records and preparing financial reports for a business.
Accounting (會計學) is the bookkeeping methods involved in making a financial record of business transactions and in the preparation of statements concerning the assets, liabilities and operating results of a business.
