Why is my 16 month old so emotional?

All of a sudden all he does is cry at the daycare and he cries at home and Im not sure of what it is. He has more teeth coming in but Im not to sure if that's why he has been like this. Do toddlers go through emotional changes? thanks

Toddlers are ALWAYS going through emotional changes. Their little brains are not yet fully developed and they don't always have the right tools to help them cope with or even understand their own feelings. Maybe there has been some change in his life that seems insignificant to you but that has left him shaken up.

Be supportive of him so he can feel secure again, but be careful not to start giving in on things you normally wouldn't. The more consistent you are the more secure he will feel.

Make sure you talk to his care givers at daycare to see if anything there has changed.

Sleep and diet also have a big effect on mood so make sure he's not eating a lot of sugar or processed foods and keep him on a good nap schedule.

yeah they do that my 19 month old does this as well and they will grow out of it i hope
