EdExcel的GCE A Level和 IGCSE

1) 考左EdExcel的GCE A Level和 IGCSE 係香港等同咩學歷 ?
>> gce a-level 即係英國既高考而igcse 就係英國既會考, 佢地係等於hk 既a-level 同ce 既, 有左呢2個成績的話, 係可apply hk 同uk 既大學的, 但係呢, 因為hk 既大學知道呢2個exam 都係比hk 既ce 同ale 係難, 所以呢, 佢地好多時會將gcse 既grade降低一至兩級黎睇的..

2) 否認可 ?
>> hk 同uk 既大學, 都係認可的.

3) 又有咩升學途徑呢 ?
>> 考完之後, 就可apply 英國同hk 既大學了..." 好多時typical requirement 入hk top uni 係AAA, 而家有A* 既system, 所以呢, 佢地可能會要a*a*a 的..

4) 其實Edexcel 又係一個咩機構 ?
>> 佢係一個exam board, 即係好似hk 既考評局咁, 英國有幾個呢一d exam board, 因為英國太大了, 如果只係一個exam board, 一定會有好多paper 要mark, 所以先會有幾個exam, 好似OCR, edexcel, aqa 等等.. 但係呢, 佢地既syllubus 都係差唔多既.. 個個exam board 既考試同grade 都係認可的.

GCE A-level is equivalent to HK A-level.
I-GCSE is equivalent to HKCEE.

However, the standard of HK A-level and HKCEE are higher than GCE A-level and I-GCSE.

Edexcel is one the recognised examination bodies in UK. Others are OCR, AQA ... etc. . They all have the same status as the Hong Kong EAA.
