What lasting effect did this agency the Work Projects Administration have on contemporary America?

nicest bridge in this town was a wpa project. it is solid and well built. bridges a fraction of it's age have come and gone. there are more of these bridges all over the country. there are hiways that were built by wpa. they built some great public buildings, like the Griffth Observatory in Los Angeles,

wpa was a great program and they left an admirable legacy.

sometimes I buy a painting on eBay from one of their artists...but the most lasting legacy is the debt they created.

It created a legitimate forum for the socialist workers party.
