✔ 最佳答案
35=3x7, 1x35
24=24x1, 4x6, 2x12
GCF: 1 answer//
since both numbers doesn't have same factors ( 35 = 5x7; 24 8x3 or 6x4) thus the
GCF = 35x24 = 840
List the factors for each
35: 1,5,7,35
24: 1,2,3,4,6,8,12,24
The Highest Common Factor is 1.
It seems that many people do not know the difference between factors and multiples.
The prime factors of 35 are 1 x 5 x 7
The prime factors of 24 are 1 x 3 x 2³
The only factor they have in common is 1, which means that they are relatively prime. In other words, they have no common factor (1 is a factor of every number, so it doesn't really count.)
Greatest common factor is the largest number that fits in both numbers, so in this case, 35, since it fits in 70 twice and 35 once I wouldn't know how to go about the second one really.
35 = ......................5 x 7
24 = 2 x 2 x 2 x 3

....= 1
