I have no strong feelings(hate/like) to this pop star.But,i always heard people commenting on him.
Heres the reason they hate them
a)He sings like a girl
Heres my personal opinion,maybe he havent go through his puberty.Maybe after a couple of years,he will sing better.(he's not bad now).Michael Jackson's song-Ben,his voice sounded like that too,because he was young at that time.
b)He is too short
A singer needs to has a good voice.Only a model needs to have a good looking figure.
c)He sucks

Because people like to put down people more successful than themselves.How can you have possibly failed life if your only 15? You may have made some mistakes, but at your age you haven't failed at life.

I don't hate him. In fact, I didn't even know who he was until his name started popping up in the celebrities section here. Personally, I could care less about him. He's for the teeny/tween set. I'm so far beyond that...
Yes, he sings like a girl. But let me point something out...the boy is 15. He should have already gone through puberty long ago. Singing like a girl when you're 15/16 is no longer "cute". It's...*weird*. And if his voice ever does change, he could be a really lousy singer. You can't predict the future. But his doesn't look good.
Finally, it's his fans who cast the shadow if dislike upon him, not anything he does specifically. they act like he's the second coming of Christ. He's really nothing special to those who aren't fans. In fact, if you're over 25, you've seen kids like him come and go in the entertainment industry like disposable lighters.
So if you're going to bring your frustration here and start accusing, you need to get your accusations correct.

I think that people dislike him because he is kind of the typical person found in today' s pop music industry. I don't believe that the dislike is against him as a person, but more against his music. He isn't overly talented...he sounds alot like many boyband types from the past. I think people also are not huge fans because he is everywhere. He is on the cover of every teen magazine and featured on TMZ often. People also find the fact that he is so young and recieving all this praise for not really doing anything very annoying. We can all rap with whiney little voices.

He absolutely cannot sing live, so he does suck.
I only get upset because there are a lot of amazing people on YouTube who should get noticed, but instead Justin has both Usher and Justin Timberlake after him. I just think it's ridiculous, because he's nothing special. At all.
Another thing that bothers me is the fact that in EVERY song he sings, it's about love and he just makes it sound like he's had years of experience. What is he, 10? (at least that's what he looks and sounds like) It's just wrong. Especially in his One Less Lonely Girl video, the girl was what 19?
And Michael Jackson was FAR more talented.
I don't even know how you just compared the two.

For me, he's just 2010's Jesse McCartney. He's the new "IT" kid. I'm passed that age where I listen to "Girl I love you" type of songs.

he has turned into a bad icon since his incident with DUIs he had in California. Im not a fan of him, i dont think his music is bad but him as a person he wrecked himself and I'm sure a lot of people dont like him because of the bad things he did,that doesnt make you a great artist. When your famous you dont want to be spreading bad stuff around. there are better celebrities out there than just JB,I can think of lots of them from the top of my head. JB of course is not the only bad celebrity out there, consider Lindsey Lohan, Brittany spears, etc.
