I don't think so he's in the prime of his career right now but after this season i think your going to see his numbers decline somewhat. This winter he will probably sign a new contract for say four years and finish his career as the best shortstop in yankees history and in the top 5 of all time shortstops. I can see his career lingering on a little bit as he tries to win one more world series and tries to have enough rings for every finger on each hand. It's important to note he doesn't have the strongest arm anymore so in a couple of years they may consider moving him to second base which I think he wouldn't want to do for more than a season. It would be funny to see Mo Posada and Jeter retire in the same year which is somewhat possible but the important thing is that jeter is a competitor and will play for the yankees until he's given them all he has and I think he still has a lot to give not only on the field but as a leader to the team. After that I can see him as a broadcaster but never as a manager.
