EMSD喺政府醫院加改建築工程需否入BD?

Government buildings are exempt from the control under Buildings Department. EMSD has been given the full authority to handle E/M installation and maintenance work. In case the project involves building work, usually it is Architectural Services Department to play the role of Project in-charge. ASD will co-ordinate other departments (including EMSD).

For maintenance/servicing of E/M work on its own, for example lift replacement, EMSD will take charge independently.
