for log base y [x]=1
it is obvious that the equation is defined only for
positive and real values of x,y

for y=/=1,
log_y [x] = 1
y^(log_y [x] )=y^1...........(1)
x=y which is the straight line with slope 1

you can do (1) only for y=/=1
as:
2=/=3
1^2=1^3


now, for y=1
it is true that
1^x=1 for all positive x
then take log base one on both sides
log base one x = 1 or 0(rejected as x>0)

note: log base one [1] =0 or 1



for e^x.... it is a absolutely fundamental graph that you must learn if you study maths

i give you the graph of log base y [x] =1
the lines should be straight....
there is something wrong with the software
