Green Tea and Red Bean Glutinous Rice Balls
Recipe:
Glutinous rice flour
Green tea powder
Sugar
Water
Red bean paste
1. Mix and knead glutinous rice flour, green tea powder and water in a big bowl.
2. Add a little bit of syrup in case the dough was too dry.
3. Rub the dough rapidly.
3. Place the dough on a plate. Take a small portion of red bean paste and knead into a ball.
4. Spread glutinous rice flour on a plate to prevent the rice balls from sticking.
5. Prepare the dough balls.
6. Half fill a cooking pot with water and boil.
7. Gently drop all dough balls into the pot one by one.
8. Stir slowly as well to prevent the dough balls from sticking onto the cooking pot.
9. Put on the lid, cook throughoutly.
10. Scoop up well-cooked balls.
11. Meanwhile, fry glutinous rice flour on a wok.
12. Spray fried glutinous rice flour on top of the rice balls.
13. Green Tea and Red Bean Glutinous Rice Balls done!
