1. kx^2 +6x+9=0 has one real root, find k. (k=0)

How can I get the answer? Thanks!!

If k is not = 0 and the equation has one real root :

△ = 6^2 - 4k(9) = 0

36 - 36k = 0

k = 1

If k = 0 , the equation becomes a linear equation 6x + 9 = 0 which has 1 real root.
