It would be extremely strange if you didn't. I mean I know it is possible considering what the Red Sox went through for 86 years and what the Cubs are still going through but stuff like that very rarely happens. I would bet on you seeing them win the World Series.

Well you have a lot of years ahead of you, I'd say they will....you have a better chance than me of your team winning the WS than I do with the Brewers in my life time since I have less years left :(

All they need to do is solidify 1 - 2 more all-star caliber ace starting pitchers to compliment Verlander, develop an all-star caliber reliever and replace the aging Guillen with a more powerful, run-producing DH, replace Ordonez with a younger, offensively effective right fielder. If Austin Jackson and Ryan Rayburn blossom into long-term, productive major-league hitters/fielders, in conjunction with the additions listed above, they'd be the best team in the AL central and could contend for a world series.

I think all of the teams will win in your lifetime except for one, which I do not know who, so yes, the Tigers, I believe, will win in your lifetime.
